I would give them zero if I can. Installed my solar setup 3 years back. Still under warranty and there is an issue. Have been calling them for 3 weeks now and zero response. Poor after service. Wouldn’t go near them, if you are looking for a new setup

Think Solar installed my panels four years ago. They did a quick, careful and responsible job, and I had it reviewed by my roofers who liked the work. I'm now getting in touch about a warranty matter. I'll let you know how that goes.

I signed a contract with Think Solar in mid-June 2025 for the installation of batteries and a heat pump. As of now, the job is still not completed properly, with inspections outstanding, and the entire experience has been extremely frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing. The heat pump was installed on 11 September, and the batteries on 9 November, yet neither system has been inspected to date. Throughout this process, I experienced repeated delays, poor coordination, and a complete lack of quality control. To make matters worse, the pricing was significantly higher than other companies. I repeatedly discovered that friends and extended family received better deals for the exact same products, forcing me to constantly negotiate after the fact — something that should never happen. Regarding the heat pump, I was almost installed a 270-litre unit instead of the 320-litre unit I signed for due to “lack of stock.” I only found this out by accident through the plumber while he was on the way to my home, not from the company. I had to stop the installation myself. Later, another plumber was scheduled but failed to attend, wasting more of my time. When he eventually came the next day, he arrived late in the evening and completed both plumbing and electrical work alone because the electrician did not attend. One major and unacceptable mistake was that the plumber did not install the separate switch supplied with the heat pump and instead connected it to an existing power point. This caused repeated power outages. Again, I was the one who identified the issue — not Think Solar — and had to push them to finally send an electrician to fix it. The company failed to check or verify that the work was done correctly. The battery installation was even worse. The batteries were unavailable for a long time. After multiple calls, Think Solar offered a different model, sent new paperwork, and I signed it. After further delays and repeated follow-ups from me, they delivered the original batteries instead of the agreed replacement. I rejected the delivery, and the incorrect batteries sat in my garage for a month. Eventually, the correct batteries were installed in early November, again after many excuses and delays — and they still remain uninspected. Given that the inspection has not been done, batteries are still off and summer is almost gone, I was severely disadvantaged despite having paid the majority of the cost upfront. I paid a significant amount of money and received little to no benefit during the period I needed it most. This entire process has been hectic, stressful, and poorly managed. Choosing Think Solar was a mistake, and I do not recommend this company to anyone. I have evidence to support everything stated in this review. Do not go with Think Solar. Not recommended!

Trading as GREENSAVINGS in Clyde Victoria. BUYERS BEWARE ROHIT hassled me to buy a battery. I spent hours discussing and sending all details, photos of system. ROHIT confirmed availability at my address NMI details etc. He sent me quote and I signed. I asked for email confirmation of final price but ROHIT only communicates WHATSAPP !!!!! smell a rat ? After signing contracts - nothing .Then he rings and says " we can't find an installer " !!! Finally I ring office - no answer. Then I get a call " we don't install in your area ". Months past . What bunch of scammers. DON'T BE FOOLED BY GREENSAVER - THINK SOLAR like I was. For a few dollars more go with a reputable company.

I am sharing my experience with dealing with Think solar. I have interacted with Jimmy and Sid from Think Solar to install my system, and they have been very reasonable and approachable during the process. Provided me with a quote to meet my needs and budget. They had taken the time to explain the process and kept me informed throughout. The installation was impeccable and professional. Alex and the team were exceptional. I would highly recommend them if you need a solar installed.
