Scott and the team have been so helpful for us. We initially went to them to add an EV charger to our existing system. But after we found corners cut from our first installers, we have now passed the reigns over to Spec Solar to monitor and maintain our system. They have been patient, helpful, and their communication has been second to none. Even follow up phone calls to make sure we are happy with our product and the services they have supplied. I have used Specialized Solar & Electrical for a complex solar and electrical installation at my home, and overall I’m very happy with the result. The team is highly technical and clearly experienced. My property presented quite a challenging setup, but they handled it professionally and delivered a solid outcome. After six months of use, the system is running smoothly with no issues. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is that the initial quote was heavily underquoted. Following the premises inspection, the final price increased significantly. That said, I still chose to proceed with them, and I’m glad I did — the quality of the work and ongoing performance have been excellent. Would recommend them for anyone needing a knowledgeable and capable solar/electrical team, especially for tricky installations. Just be prepared for the quote to be adjusted after the site visit.

Specialized Solar and Electrical installed our solar system in 2021 and we found them good and so went back to them for installation of a Sungrow home battery in 2025. We are happy to recommend them. Scott and the team helped us work out what size of home battery would suit our needs and what other work would be required and helped us with every step. The installers did a great job. Their customer service is good and they are helpful when you need follow up or have an issue. They have been around for a long time and a key thing when choosing an installer is you know they will be there if you have an problem. We did have an issue with an error message on the inverter and and the issue was actioned and a communication module replaced. We are very happy with the patience of the help desk and follow up. Our home is now all electric so no gas bill and no petrol bills. The great thing is the ongoing savings from very low electricity bills.

I contacted Specialized Solar & Electrical as we were interested in installing a Solar Battery. Scott was fantastic to deal with and suggested a product I hadn't even considered. The Franklin Battery that was installed works fantastic and is dropped our power bill to only the supply charge. Would highly recommend Scott and the whole team to get a Battery installed.

This firm has assisted us twice on the first occassion installing solar panels and on the second hooking these panels into a battery system. In all things they are professional, easy to work with and do excellent work. We have no complaints about what we had done and the time it took to do it. They turn up when they say they will and are proficient and skilled at what they do. Thank You.
