The team arrived on the scheduled installation day right on time—even braving a cold, wet roof from the previous night’s rain—and got straight to work. The installation was impressively neat: no visible wires, everything tucked cleanly inside the wall, making the unit look like it’s floating. They completed the job in a single day, commissioned the system, and even arranged for the inspector to check it on the same day—an unexpected bonus! They left my property spotless, removing all boxes, cables, and old solar panels. It’s rare to find this level of professionalism and attention to detail. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor!!!! Please read my review to avoid this service Here are few dot points to consolidate my experience. - Excess rubbish was just left on the premises with no communication of clearing - Silicone is used to repair broken tiles (which is not a long term solution). Not even going to the length of supplying a similar color silicone but couldn't even have the decency to tell us they were broken and would have to change them in the near future. - The plumber has provided a very average job of insulating the copper pipe on the hot water unit only to leave one part of the copper exposed. - During installation I noticed his installation team moving the solar panels from inside our garage to the outside of the building, placing them on the gravel/rocks without any protection causing scratching to the sides of the panels. When I approached your team about this issue they said not to worry as it's metal and can't be scratched. - Aside from all that Sam has taken over 3 weeks to install and get the solar approved by a licensed electrician to turn on the solar power. The lack of customer service is astounding

Sam, from Solar Run Lara, has been amazing. We've just had a 23 panel, 10kw system with battery and heat pump hot water service installed. As we have a few large gums, we had the panels installed on 3 side - east, south and north - to get the most out of the day's sunlight (photos below at 9:30am end of winter, with the east on north sides in full sun from 11am till sundown. Roof has full sun during the optimal months. Edited to add last full-sun photo at 10:45am) The communication with Sam has been nothing less than exceptional, with texts and phone calls even on his days off to keep us informed of the process and progress. He helped take care of all the government funding and loans, which made that very daunting task so much easier. I'm so impressed with the install - neat and clean workmanship. Sam has shown us how we can us wholesale electricity prices to keep our import low, while still getting the best FiT possible. Although this wasn't our intention, we would be happy if that money saved or earned can contribute to the loan repayments. Once we've installed our induction cooktop, we can fully disconnect from gas and contribute to a sustainable future for our kids, while also saving ourselves a small fortune. Thanks again, Sam!
